For a long time, we are solving the biggest audiophile headache. The most natural, vivid, and lifelike sound seems harder to get than the mythical white unicorn. No matter the price most audiophile loudspeakers tend to lack the music in them.

The absolute sound from the traditional fullrange speakers lack treble, bass, and more often than not have a shouty exaggerated midrange. For many years now we perfected the fullrange drivers to the point of perfection. Amazing review and happy audiophiles feedback only confirm that have the most amazing fullrange drivers, which for most cases can provide a really fullrange sound in proper room and setup conditions. What we were not comfortable with though was a huge 40 meters square or difficult rooms. That is why we went for active bass units. Sealed cabinets, 200W AB class amp with superb control and a very fast 10″ & 20 Hz resonance woofer allows Nenuphar BASiS to solve all of the loudspeaker headaches. You can place your speakers in the position providing the best soundstage and openness, or simply where they need to be for practical aesthetic reason, and just by turning an active sub knob adjust the amount of the bass to your preference in rooms up to 100 square meters. This solution guarantees amazing sound no matter the room and amp performance in the bass region.

The sound
Nenuphar Mini BASiS offers the best sound in the 8″ fullrange realm For some time now we were looking for a loudspeaker that is capable of delivering amazing fullrange sound character in big rooms. Unfortunately, physics is heartless. Even going with bigger cabinets won’t do any good. To have really extended low frequencies and comfort of placing the speakers anywhere in the room active way is the best way.
As always we did our research and development process and came up with very fast, accurate, and amazingly deep bass. The subs were designed to accompany the Nenuphar Mini Monitors, Nenuphar Mini, Magus, or even Bliss C loudspeakers. Since we used sealed cabinets for very low group delay and amazing accuracy, the integration of the sub with full-range driver is very easy and effortless. The fullrange driver does not have any crossover so the sound is as pure as was before, just the lowest bass is added if necessary. Complete regulation of SUB volume, phase with an addition of 0 – 6 dB gain in the range of 30-50 Hz make the sub a perfect match for the speakers
The Nenuphar Mini BASiS is dedicated to rooms of 30 – 60 square meters. They are a perfect match for a tube amp with at least 3 Watts per channel. Our personal preference is somewhere around 2A3, Px4, 45 tube-based amps. Nonetheless, most solid-state amps (especially those working in A-class) are also an amazing match for the Nenuphars. When it comes to placement, they can be placed both forward and placed right against the back wall. They like about 5-10 degrees of toe-in.
